Hattie's ER Visit

Hattie had been running a fever off and on for two weeks, and we had been to the doctor several times. We finally figured out that she has a urinary tract infection. But on Father's Day, she started running a significant fever, so we called our doctor's office. They sent us to Vanderbilt Children's hospital!

They drew blood and took a urine sample. She does have a UTI and most likely a virus on top of that. After a few hours at the ER, an IV, a baby catheter, and lots of monitoring...they sent us home. She is doing great and it all was a precaution to make sure nothing serious was going on!

It was a memorable first Father's Day!

Will's first Father's Day!

All hooked up! But still a happy baby!

They had to run her IV through a vein in her head because her veins
were so hard to find! They made her a little hat to wear to cover it!

Getting a little fussy!

Trying to comfort our baby girl!

Poor sweet baby!

Trying to keep our spirits up!

Pitiful!

This momma and daddy had to stop for a milkshake and ice cream on the way home to de-stress!
